For a free quote, please contact us with as much detail as possible about your project. The following information is generally needed:
- Written description of the product and its function
- Photos, samples or prototypes if available;
- Standards or specifications that the product or material must comply with;
- Materials specifications, mechanical properties, strength and hardness;
- Requirements regarding resistance to environmental conditions, such as moisture, temperature range, sunlight, chemicals, etc.;
- Surface treatment, colour and finish;
- 3D CAD designs, if possible in formats STEP (.stp, .step, or .ste), SAT (.sat), IGES (.igs), or Pro-Engineer. The files can be e-mailed or sent by post on CD-ROM. For e-mails, large files should preferably be compressed (.zip or .rar);
- Engineering drawings with lengths, radii, tolerances, and other data. We prefer AutoCAD (.dwg, or .dxf), Acrobat (.pdf), or other image format for 2D drawings;
- For printed items such as packaging, printing, manuals etc., artwork in Adobe Illustrator or PDF format.
- Quantity needed per delivery, month and year;
- Delivery address and whether you want us to include a freight quote; <
- Time Frame;
